Raymond da Rosa Named to Pool Pro’s 2024 30 Under 40

Since 2007, Raymond da Rosa has worked across various segments of the pool service industry, including residential pool maintenance, chemical balancing and treatment, as well as equipment repair and installation. Today, he co-owns Golden State Pools.

“I had the opportunity to work for one of the oldest companies in San Diego, Pacific Chemical, where I gained extensive experience,” he says. “One day, I asked the owners for a raise and they told me no. I then told them I was going to start my own pool company, and they asked how they could help. That’s how Golden State Pools was born. Fast forward five years, and I now own the very company that gave me my start in the pool industry.”

Now, da Rosa helps lead Golden State Pools’ day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on delivering consistent pool cleaning and maintenance services for residential clients, ensuring water quality, cleanliness, and reliability across every service visit. He also plays a key role in overseeing equipment repair and upgrade services, helping homeowners maintain efficient, safe, and properly functioning pool systems year-round.
